On this marvelous Sunday in Vilnius we spent the day going to church with our Native Coordinator and his family, eating Mexican food, and hiking up to and exploring the Gediminas' Tower. It was the perfect summer day for our outings as the weather was in the 80s and so incredibly nice.

| Our Lithuanian family at church :) From the moment we got here they really have felt like family. |
| Gorgeous girls |
| We found Mexican food! Actual Mexican food! :) |
| Emma thought she had left tacos back home for the next four months. Little did she know Lithuania had some waiting for her :) |
| Lindsay, Emma, and me on our way up to Gediminas' Tower. Lithuania is so green and gorgeous! |
| We made it to the top and it was so incredible! This tower is the only remaining part of the Upper Castle that once stood here during the 15th century. |

| At the entrance into the tower |

| Chillin' with some knights within the castle walls |
| The breathtaking view of Vilnius |
| Can you get a prettier view than this?! I think not. |
One could not forget that today was also Mother's Day. I'm sad that I could not spend Mother's Day with my mom, but I was able to see and talk with her today, which was almost just as good!
I'm so grateful for my mom. The person I am today is all because of her. She's an incredible woman, full of love and laughter. She is the greatest example in my life. Her strength constantly amazes and inspires me. Her beauty is beyond measure and her laughter is contagious. Her love for her children is evident in everything that she does. Her encouragement and support is always there to push me to live to my full potential. Her determination gave me the mindset of working hard and her outlook has taught me to enjoy life at every moment and always pursue what makes me happy. She taught me how to love and have confidence in myself. For all of these things and more I feel so incredibly blessed to call her not only my best friend, confidant, support system, teacher, hiking buddy, therapist, pedicure girlfriend, and role model but my mom.
"I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always, As long as I'm living, My mommy you'll be."
I love you mom :)
