Spectacle!

I've been absolutely dreading writing this blog post for the past two weeks because I knew that it would be one of my last here in Lithuania....and that little fact right there brings me tears. However, I'm not going to dwell on that yet because I still have four days here and I am determined to make every second count!

We went to thUžupis Republic again last weekend and got our passports stamped this time! You have no idea how much I LOVE getting my passport stamped!
I dug out my suitcase from the closet. I think everything I need will fit, don't you?
I took the kids outside last week and got some pictures of them...
... aren't they just the cutest? I'm going to miss them SO much!
The day finally arrived on Wednesday for the kids "Spectacle" performance. We'd worked so hard with them for the past couple of weeks, getting ready for the show, and they rocked it! I could not have been prouder!
My little Kung-Fu Fighters the day before the "Spectacle." They danced, sung, and karate kicked their hearts out!

Emma and I on our last day of real teaching

Getting ready for the show

Little Miss, love her so much!

I wanted a picture with the kids and they tackled me! Typical... :)

Some pictures from the performance

And then it was over... just like that. Four months of teaching all leading up to this. Luckily we still have one more day to play and party with the kids before we have to say goodbye for real.
After the performance we went outside and took some pictures

This family... gotta love them :)

Taking pictures was a little crazy, as you can tell by this picture, but where's the fun without a little chaos?
Aww man... I'm going to miss them!

  1. Love the picture with you in the suitcase...so funny! Can't wait to pick you up at the airport, but I am sure you will have a hard time leaving all the fabulous people that you have met over there and your wonderful host family who have been so kind and generous. Lots of love.

  2. Alex, my daughter is serving in the mission you are headed to. Her blog will go private in a couple of days. I noticed you are following my daughter's blog, so if you would like an invitation to it, please email me at atticw@hotmail.com
