Tourists in Vilnius

The past couple of months I have seen some incredible places, traveling from country to country. However, I often forget that where I am living is an amazing city too. It's funny how you can take for granted the place that you live. Vilnius is wonderful and I am in love with it. I'm so grateful for the opportunity I've had to live here.
After a shorter week of teaching we went into Old Town on Saturday and were tourists in our own city. We rented bikes and had a blast!
Frank Zappa Statue... Michaela's been wanting to see this baby since day one!

At St. Nicholas Church, the oldest orthodox church in all of Lithuania.

The Church of St. Catherine. Vilnius is a very religious city with over forty churches.

Pedaling around Vilnius, the best way to do it!

One of the Russian Churches in Vilnius. I'm sure I'll be seeing a lot more of these soon.

Town Hall

On the way up to the Gates of Dawn

At the Gates of Dawn, one of the most important religious monuments in Lithuania.

I love finding hidden treasures within a city

At the Presidential Palace

Being silly...

... Very silly

And finally back to Cathedral Square. Have I mentioned that I LOVE Vilnius... because I do! :)
Lots of Love from Lithuania!
